CannaLib API — Refunds and Cancellation

Interim version, effective 25 September 2026. It will be replaced by our reviewed version; we will email account holders before any change that affects them.

All payments for CannaLib API plans and credit packs are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited,
acting as merchant of record. Paddle handles the refund itself once approved.

Subscription plans

  • If this is the first payment on a new subscription and you have used less than
10% of that period’s call allowance, you can request a full refund within 14 days of payment by
emailing [email protected] or using Paddle’s own support channel.
  • Refund requests outside that window, or on a renewal payment rather than a first payment, are considered
case by case. We look at usage and the reason for the request.
  • You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account dashboard (Paddle’s billing portal), in one step.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access at your current plan until the end of the period you already
paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Cancelling does not itself refund the current period.

Credit packs

  • Credit packs are a one-time purchase. If you have not used any of the credits from a pack, you can request a
full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Once any credits from a pack have been used, that pack is not refundable, though we will still look at
exceptional cases (for example, a clear billing error) on request.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working at half its normal rate and daily limits for 3 days while
Paddle retries the charge and emails you to fix billing. If payment is still not resolved after 3 days, your account
moves to the Free plan; nothing is deleted and no further charge is made for that period.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge directly with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback) instead of contacting us first, your
account and any associated credits may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed. We would rather resolve a billing
problem directly — email [email protected] first.

Your rights under Australian law

Nothing on this page limits, excludes or restricts any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer
Law, including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose
disclosed. Where those guarantees are not met, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the policy stated
above.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your account email and the payment you’re
asking about, or use the receipt link Paddle emailed you to contact Paddle support directly. We aim to respond
within a small number of business days.
